Application description

TurboConvert is an integrated multi-function calculator for Windows and reference tool for unit conversion, shape properties, material properties and air properties. There are 40+ unit categories with 650+ individual units to select from for over 15,500 unit conversion combinations. Unit conversion can operate in both directions by simply clicking the “other number”. Shape properties calculate area, perimeter, volume, mass, surface area, and moment of inertia for various shapes. Material properties is a collection of basic materials from publicly available references with maximum recommended use temperature and other properties. Air properties are for "dry" air (most dense) and temperature, pressure, and altitude are available inputs based on USA, 1976 Standard Atmosphere and ICAO Atmosphere. The number of decimal places is adjustable and the number format is based on the current country regional setting. The format selections include: fixed, scientific, and maximum. A list pad is provided for quick number storage and retrieval with category and unit labeling to provide a clear reference.
